The
Dallas/Fort Worth Area Tour Guide
Association, organized in 1999,
provides continuing education,
training and certification programs.
DFWATGA provides a forum for tour
guides and hospitality
professionals.
DFWATGA
Core Purpose: To provide
ongoing educational opportunities to
raise the level of professionalism
within the tour guiding and
hospitality industry in North Texas.

Goal: To be essential to
success & professional growth for
our membership and the DFW Area tour
and hospitality industry.
Monthly Educational Programs
Monthly programs are held the third
Tuesday of the month, January
through November. The association
holds three business meetings a
year. The programs are educational,
focusing on the area sites, the
arts, attractions and general
knowledge of the North Texas region. With each activity, our
members learn current information to
share with visitors.
